Michal Sobczak
CLINICAL TEAM
Michal completed a Master of Pharmacy at Poland’s renowned Poznan University of Medical Sciences in 2002.
After three years working at the University as a researcher and lecturer, he moved to the UK and began practising as a community pharmacist.
Michal is deeply interested in the science of longevity and its practical applications. His main fields of study include nutritional interventions, the physiology of sleep, epigenetics, and mental and emotional health. He also studies the benefits of breathing techniques, including Wim Hof and Buteyko methods.
The main aim of Michal’s work is to reverse and minimise symptoms of metabolic syndrome by addressing the root causes of the problem, namely insulin resistance. In his daily practice, he focuses on promoting lifestyle interventions that help discontinue medications for chronic diseases.
His greatest passion is the ketogenic diet and its potential medical applications in type 2 diabetes, IBS, obesity and hypertension.
He believes that everyone, by default, deserves to be happy, healthy and strong. Michal’s life philosophy is: What I want for myself, I want for others.
Michal lives in York (England). He’s a keen skier and enjoys hiking trips in the Yorkshire Dales.
