Founded by Dan and Basma, Deliciously Guilt Free began with co-founder Basma’s diagnosis of pregnancy diabetes. As she is a doctor she wanted to manage her diabetes with diet and to avoid, for as long as possible, using medication. Adhering to a strict low-sugar and low-carb diet, by the end of the pregnancy, she was healthier than she had been for years.
Both Dan and Basma decided to cut out sugar and carbs but wanted to still enjoy a special sweet treat now and then. That’s why they run Deliciously Guilt Free. They hand make low-carb and low-sugar cakes, brownies and cookies, giving people a delicious and healthy alternative to sugar and carbs”.
