Why is Sleep SO important for our health?

Sufficient Sleep, of the right quality, is absolutely essential for both our physical and our mental health. Put simply, poor sleep shortens lives yet its something we tend to take for granted. When sleep goes wrong, your community pharmacist is often the first healthcare professional consulted.

Our sleep-trained pharmacists can help you by:

  • screening, recognising, and signposting you to appropriate care
  • Addressing the underlying causes e.g. weight management, alcohol and smoking cessation
  • Right patient, in the right place, at the right time
